In 2024, with your help, we installed a new insulated metal roof. Now we are raising $35,000 to “Restore the Core” — including impact windows, kitchen revival, electrical upgrades, and floor repair. This will allow us to again welcome dances, classes, workshops, and community events while further protecting the building from the elements.
We are fully volunteer-run and donation-driven. During the Giving Challenge, your gift is matched by the Patterson Foundation (up to $100), doubling its impact. You're supporting more than a building — you’re strengthening part of Sarasota’s living history.

Yes, to strengthen giving during the 2026 Giving Challenge, The Patterson Foundation will provide a 1:1 match for all unique donations, up to $100 per donor, per organization made online with a credit or debit card.
Donations of $25 or more are accepted and they are 100% tax- deductible.
